Dyslexia Therapy
Specialized, multi-sensory instruction designed to help students with dyslexia unlock their reading potential and thrive academically
Understanding Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a common learning difference that affects how the brain processes language, particularly in reading, spelling, and writing. It is not a reflection of intelligence but rather a unique way of learning that requires specialized support. At Read With Kourtni, we provide expert-led dyslexia therapy for children with certified CALTs who understand the science of reading and how to meet each learner’s needs. Our structured, evidence-based sessions help struggling readers build confidence and success—available in both personalized 1:1 sessions and dynamic small group formats. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis or shows signs of reading difficulty, early intervention can make all the difference.
Who Can Benefit?
At Read With Kourtni, our 1:1 dyslexia therapy is delivered by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) who specializes in helping children overcome reading challenges through personalized, evidence-based instruction
Each session is designed to target the unique needs of the child using the Orton-Gillingham approach and structured literacy techniques proven to build phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Whether your child has a formal dyslexia diagnosis or simply struggles with reading, our CALT-led intervention provides the expert support and consistency needed for lasting progress. Trusted by parents and aligned with the International Dyslexia Association’s best practices, this one-on-one service empowers children to read with confidence and clarity.
Small Group Dyslexia Therapy (Max 5 Students)
At Read With Kourtni, our small group dyslexia therapy sessions are led by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and designed to support children who benefit from learning alongside peers in a structured, engaging environment. With a group size capped at just five students, your child receives focused, personalized instruction while also gaining confidence through peer interaction. Each session follows the Orton-Gillingham method and structured literacy principles, targeting key areas such as phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, fluency, and reading comprehension. This cost-effective alternative to 1:1 therapy offers the same research-backed strategies in a collaborative format—making it an ideal solution for families seeking quality support, meaningful connection, and measurable growth.
Therapy is 4-5 sessions per week, and consistent progress is evident.
